Dear Families

Welcome to Castle Newnham - we are the Head Pupils and Deputy Head Pupils who lead the school’s Junior Leadership Team (JLT). We represent the pupil body by listening to their views and opinions which ensures that all voices are heard. We are driven by our commitment to the CORE values - Community, Opportunity, Respect and Excellence - and support all in our school to follow these to the best that they can.

In addition to leading the JLT, we have responsibilty for the school’s house system by leading our given house: Kenilworth, Conwy or Stirling - all of which are castles in Great Britain. The house system combines healthy competition, team spirit and brings pupils from across the whole school together. It also is used as a platform to promote community beyond our school gates through charity work, supporting our neighbourhood and the world beyond.

Our school is very keen on giving the pupils a well-rounded education in and outside classroom - whether you thrive in sports, the creative and performing arts, the sciences, learning a language, mathematics, reading, writing or another area of school curriculum, you’ll meet engaging teachers who are inspirational and knoweldgebale and work with everyone to excel in their learning.
