Well-being
All of our pupils have learnt about the Five Ways to Mental Well-being in their PSHCE lessons. In these uncertain times, it is important for them to remember these – this video is a good summary of the Five Ways to Mental Well-being:

Here are some activities to try during your time learning from home:

1. Connect with others – make phone calls, video calls, write letters and send cards

2. Be active – see Joe Wickes’ daily PE lessons , try yoga, kick a ball, get some fresh air, plant some seeds

3. Learn news skills – learn to juggle, learn coding at: www.scratchmit.edu, learn to sew on a button

4. Give to others – give a smile, a thank you, a helping hand, tidy out a cupboard and give your unwanted toys/books to charity

5. Take Notice – learn about mindfulness at https://mindfulnessinschools.org/teach-dot-b/dot-b-curriculum/, look through photographs, notice nature around you, get drawing and sketching
